INFINITI Q55 Trim Levels: What They Have in Common

There are three available trims to choose from: the Luxe, Essential, and Sensory. Each trim focuses on a new aspect of your drive. However, before we dive into their differences, let’s see what these models have in common.

For starters, these trims all share the same VC-Turbo engine. This engine is the reason why every trim can reach a whopping 268 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. Additionally, the engine supports the model and its EPA-estimated 22 city/28 highway/25 combined MPG.* This means drivers are granted the power and efficiency for maximum versatility.

Each QX55 trim comes standard with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. The system distributes 50% of your engine power directly to your rear wheels. This is meant to improve your handling and control when traveling on wet, slippery, or snowy roads.

These similarities ensure that no matter what trim you choose, you’ll receive a reliable high-performing vehicle that can truly go the distance.

Luxe

First, there’s the Luxe. This is the introductory trim level, meaning it gives drivers only a sneak peek of what the QX55 can really do. Nevertheless, this trim wins drivers over with its plenty of standard features like:

• Smart device integration
• Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ wireless connectivity

On top of this, the model is designed with 20-inch machine finish aluminum alloy wheels and highlights its Forward Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection system. With this safety feature, drivers can receive alerts when the system detects a moving object crossing into their path. If necessary, the vehicle can even engage its brakes automatically.

Essential

The INFINITI QX55 Essential is the next on the list. This model takes the standards set from the previous trim and turns it up a notch.

In this model, we begin to see newly introduced standard features such as cooled and heated front seats, a navigation system, and a 360° exterior camera for a perfect view of your surroundings.

The trim’s standard Bose® Performance Series 16 Speakers Premium Audio System pairs nicely with your infotainment system, which includes navigation with 3D building graphics.

All this is topped with leather-appointed seats and front parking sensors to make maneuvering in and out of your spot easier.

Sensory

Finally, there’s the Sensory trim. It adds everything possible with the QX55, including interior ambient lighting, a Tri-Zone Automatic Temperature Control system, and Intelligent Cruise Control.

Other features include a motion-activated Liftgate, so you can easily access your trunk/cargo area. As well as INFINITI ProPILOT Assist with Head-Up Display. This safety system includes dozens of different driver-assistance features that make you a better and more aware driver.
